Daksha project

"When a woman has all the power, then why should she be called a poor woman? " From the opening of Daksha's first center for women's skills development last year until now, hundreds of women have become financially independent and opened their own sewing shops and beauty salons. Our goal is to make this count from hundreds to thousands.

Menstrual hygiene awareness program

A large chunk of the Indian population believes this natural cycle to be a ‘curse’, ‘impure’, and ‘dirty’ among other things, courtesy of the ancient myths surrounding menstruation in our country.

From the opening of Daksha's first center for women's skills development last year until now, thousands of women have become financially independent and opened their own sewing shops and beauty salons. More than 150+ women have been imparted skills through our skill training program. The skills imparted to girls are Beauty and Make-up, Mehandi Designing, Tailoring etc.

Realizing the importance of this project, we decided to sell the creations of these women who put their hearts into their work.
